The Ottoman is solid, easy to put together. But the description of the cushion is waaay off! Not at all what was expected. Pretty disappointed. I could send it back (I purchased two) and that is a high possibility. If not, I’m forced to find something to connected the mismatch.

The cushion is off-white so we simply covered it with a beach towel to keep it clean. We like the size and heigh. It is comfortable for our feet and looks nice. No complaints. Time consuming to assemble, but that probably keeps the cost down rather than pay workers to do it. The packaging and shipping time was really good. If you are really dedicated, you could put Scotch Guard on the cushion. As others have already suggested, a choice of colors would be nice.

Did some one have sunglasses on when describing the color? I don't know who wrote the description but this cushion is not even close to beige/brown. Its a creme antique white cushion. Someone that knows nothing of color that's for certain. It matches NOTHING! False Advertising is a illegal...right? Or at minimum its just plain wrong. You must do better Home Styles.I mean come on! Everything else about the Ottoman is solid but I cant get over the blatant poor description of color. Conveniently priced and the base looks good. The cushion looks like it was made in the 30's when antique white was popular. Do you actually offer a beige or tan color cushion? IF not change the description and stop wasting peoples time just to make a sale. That's the opposite of the way its done.

My only complaint is it’s not the color it was supposed to be according to the picture. I was expecting a more gray cover. This one is almost white, which means it will show every speck of dirt! The fabric feels like a good quality outdoor fabric. That being said, the instructions were done clearly and perfectly, all the nuts, bolts and screws were put together already, plus they gave us an extra set. The instructions even came in a sheet protector. To my surprise, the top comes off and can be used for storage! The cushion is very thick and appears to be very well made. So far, I’m very happy with this product. Update: I smashed a bloody mosquito on the almost white pillow cover, but to my surprise only a speck of blood remains that won’t come off with a wet paper towel. The cover does show every spot of dirt from putting your feet or shoes on it. I noticed Amazon raised the prices of this ottoman after I purchased it. I wouldn’t buy it again for even the lesser amount because of the color of the cushion. I would like to know if this company sells other color covers for this ottoman?

To be completely honest I wasn’t expecting much from this. But it’s turns out it’s the ottoman everyone wants. The cushion also comes off and you can store things in it. BONUS! Perfect place for my pillows & blankets!
