OEM..easy/remove and replace. I thought my issue was the Thermowax part...but after further review, the top of the Autochoke partn was a bit worn...anyway, purchased this item and it runs like a Honda product, as it has for 9 years. All good.

Just installed Lawn Mower Choke Control on a Honda Motor GCV160 with auto choke on a Troy Bilt mover and below recommended carb, choke actuator (Thermo Wax Assembly) like many others here.Of course note gaskets placement and orientation as may block some ports otherwise. Worked perfectly and stopped surging. All these parts are inexpensive so happy there. I'd bought same carb just 2 yrs prios and stopped surging but it returned ! Strange, however, absolutely essential to resurrect your expensive Honda Lawn Mower. In My engineering mind, It's a bizarre implementation for an automatic choke device. I finally got it installed and it worked well, Albeit strange it took some research to figure out what was wrong with the carb on this engine. This dumb little part. The proverbial weak link in the otherwise strongly- built chain. I don't know that the original part worked worked for very long. Several cans of starting ether later. The mower would start with only a very rich fuel environment. I use at least 91 octane fuel in all my small 4-stroke engines.
