Okay.....so I have been really "intrigued" by the whole idea of Tofu cat litter; it's a bit "interesting." I did try another brand once before, after my female baby got spayed, and unfortunately she "hated that one." So, I went back to plain old clumping store brand that was more like sand. They both really liked that kind because I think the sand like quality is soft on their paws. I can appreciate that. However, I HATED that because the litter went EVERYWHERE......all throughout my home, and whatever counters they jumped on; it just was so unsanitary to me. Then I tried OkoCat, which is a wood blend. That was a nice idea, and was less "dusty," but still tracked "everywhere." And, the worst part of it for me was "the smell." Gosh, it didn't smell like their "business," it was the wood shavings themselves that used to make me "gag." So, it's been only 3 days since I tried this, and I REALLY LIKE IT!!! I think this brand has been more appealing to them because they have added "bentonite clay" which is "sand like." And, the tofu does gets kicked out of the box still, but because it is heavier, its doesn't go all throughout my home. It is staying right outside the box, and is easy to pick up with dustpan and broom. Now, my Ragdoll won't cover up his #2 with this brand, which I hear is not uncommon for Ragdolls to do anyway. My other cat came and showed me that it was left uncovered the second day, and I had better clean it up quick....LOL. Okay, so the only downside for me is I have to scoop more often, but it's really easy now, and I don't dread doing it. The smell is fine, easy to clean, great clumping action, dust free, and LOW TRACKING!!! What's there not to like??? And, even they are "cooperating." I know they say it's safe for even septics, but I am not putting down the drain as I don't want to risk my plumbing, so still putting in the trash, but I just wanted to let ya'll know, this is a "great product," and I have used many different cat litters over the years. I really LIKE THIS STUFF!!! A tad more expensive, but I foresee it lasting long enough to make it "cost effective," too.

I’m a sucker for minimalism, so I love that this litter is bright white. The color also means that as soon as there’s something in the box, you can see and remove it, so your apt can keep smelling clean. To me it’s better than the grey clay, which leaves grey marks in the box. The pellets do track, but not too much, easy to clean, and they don’t hurt your feet if you step on them.Cons, there is a slight smell. Could be the tofu or the scent pellets. But it’s light and if you place the box by a window, or better, by a window fan, it should be ok. I tried litter scent crystals but that made it more noticeable. Best to just keep it clean.Overall, good value for money. I may try a few other brands to see if there is one with a more neutral scent. But this one has been a good choice so far!Note to manufacturer: May be good to offer an unscented version !

LOVE this cat liter. It is literally the best thing i’ve ever gotten for my cats and I am sad that I was spending so much money on crystal liter before finding out about this. It is a bit pricey, but in my opinion it is completely worth it as there is no dust (a HUGEEEE problem with the crystal liter I was previously using), no tracking, and hardly any odor when paired with a stainless steel liter box. No liter box is going to smell like daisies and roses, but this liter does the best job at covering the scent of their waste. I have two cats and one of which has urine stones and while I was using the crystal liter I noticed that it was causing more stones for him, which led to him holding his pee and not using the liter box as often. After switching to this, I’ve noticed so much of a difference in his bathroom habits and it’s also really easy to spot any blood that may be in his urine. I love that you can flush it down the toilet as it also makes my life and nostrils so much easier when I am scooping the liter box. My liter box is in my closet currently because I live in a small apartment and I was noticing that dust would become built up on my shoes and other things on the ground in my closet, which can’t be good to breathe in for me OR my cats. Now, there is no dust and everything feels so much cleaner. So many good things to say about this liter, give it a try I promise you’ll never go back to regular liter!

The odor control is decent and it truly is dust free. However it doesn’t clump very good so it sucks for the auto litter box , it also tracks every where. So it’s very wasteful!

Granuals were too large to sift through scooper. The depth went from approximately 3 inches down to an inch in a few days. The cats wouldn't even use it. I threw it all out on the third day.

No smell and low dust which is good but HORRIBLE clumping and tracking, combine those two and you get pee crumbs everywhere in your place and the litter box becomes hectic to clean every time.Definitely do not recommend.
