Although these gloves are not designed to protect you from plants with thorns, they are perfect for every day outdoor yardwork.I own my own lawn and garden business which includes tree trimming, trimming bushes, picking up all kinds of debris, adding mulch, removing weeds,as well as cutting lawns and planting plants.After one month of intense use, I am still on my first pair of gloves, well actually my second pair of gloves I lost a pair… that’s me and that’s why I bought these gloves.Highly recommend them for just your everyday average gardener except when working with plants that have thorns such as the weeded smilac, roses, and citrus trees.I will never use another glove again for my regular every day yardwork.If I use just one pair of gloves per month, I’m good for three years, however, I believe I’m good for much longer than that.Perfect gift for that gardener in your life. I wish they made our all products as quality as these gloves are.

I purchased this for a group of people to do a service project, and for the price, it can't be beat. As the other reviews noted, it is pretty good quality for the price. It will definitely work for the service project. The one-size fits both my husband's (L) and my (S) hands. As noted by another reviewer, it has a funky chemical smell, so if you can, it would be nice to wash them before using them.
