I bought a 15 needle embroidery machine expecting it to come with a laser. it did not. I ordered this, attached it to the side of the head, lined it up with needle one and the needle hole in the needle plate and the rest is history. It works so well, it has it’s own power button so I can leave it off if I don’t need it. I can adjust it if I need to, but it really stays put. It’s very bright, and works so well, it saved me a ton of money in the long run.

Great for the price. Works well for setting needle placement.A bit bulky to set up. The power supply is taped to the machine head and the laser head is positioned and held in place by a zip tie. Adjustment takes some finesse.For my machine, I would have preferred a shorter extension between the power supply and the laser head. Also would like the laser beam to be finer (more narrow).

Makes aligning your project so easy. I used with Embroidery Design Placement & it takes away 'guess work'! Would definitely recommend for perfect alignment every time!

Not great but okay. Moves a lot while sewing and the laser is quite wide. Very hard to stabilize while doing chain piecing having to readjust often. Just not for me.

Light wouldn't work, when I unscrewed casing from connection this is how wires came out. Not even wired. This is absolutely worthless. This does not fit on any machine either, even if you could fix the wiring (with savvy soldering skills and being able to access the connection points) you can not attach this to machine without it being completely in the way of every lever and button no matter where you try to put it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

This are a great buy. You will not be disappointed with the ease of install and set up. They are bright and work great. Now we just have to wait and see what kind of life we get out of them. If they last over 3 years they will be well worth the price paid for 2 lights!! Hopefully they last for 5 or more years!! ðŸ™

This item is exactly as pictured. I am going to use it for hooping instead of paying way more for the PALs one. All I did was velcro to desk instead of machine so it goes downward to use. I can't wait to use it. Light turned on well and came with 2 other attachments.

Bought as a gift. We will see how long it lasts. The sewing machine they have has a super-bright HID LED bulb in it (you know, like those super blue/white HID car headlights bright) and the laser line off of this can't be seen in the 4inches / 10.5cm right next to the foot. It does help some to keep fabric aligned for sewing, but is not some 'super tool' at all I am told. So far, for the price, it's ok. For weak light -1 star, for the price -1 star for a 3/5 rating.
