Although these did not come with any instructions, I was baffled at first. I have never used any quilting rulers and I really want to learn. So my husband and I started using them on paper, to try to figure them out. We did struggle some but then I went to you tube and found videos by DABLINE, they use the exact same rulers (maybe they made them?) and then all you have to do is practice, practice. After a couple of videos I was making practice designs on fabric. I was soooo happy - I can do it. I know I have more to learn but I am excited about the possibilities. Don't be discouraged, watch the videos and have fun learning.

Loved item but didn't get instructions for individual templates which should have been placed in each separate template was not included? Could you please send instructions when you get a chance. Thanks Ralph B. Feuker.

This is a good quality product. They are 5mm thick templates. They are very sturdy and packaging was very good. READ**these templates will NOT work on a low shank machine. I was pretty certain of this before I purchased but read mixed reviews so decided to buy anyway to see for myself. I have a baby lock allure plus. The 1/4 inch ruler foot works perfect with these templates but the actual shank on the machine (not the foot) of your machine will hit the acrylic on the template (bc the 5mm is to thick) and will not allow for free movement around the turns. I ended up using the template and a fabric pen to stencil the design on and then went back with the free motion foot to quilt. If you have a low shank machine you will need 3mm templates. Don’t waste your time reaching out to Honeysew to ask if they offer any 3mm templates bc they don’t—I’ve already asked. The person that handled my email was slightly rude and it rubbed me the wrong way (which is why I gave them less stars in my rating.)

Be very careful with these templates, they are thin and flimsy. I have other templates and they are very sturdy. Just remember no hard pressure on these or they will crack.

Product arrived in timely manner. Templates are of advertised thickness and will be usable on long arm quilting machine as well as my Pfaff Quilt Expression tabletop machine. This set is a great bargain when compared with purchasing templates separately.

I think the idea of these rulers would be good, but they are grossly mis-represented! They are NOT 1/4" thick. And not even close. For those with high shank machines or longarms, this imposes a very real safety risk. And it could damage the timing of any machine - a very costly problem. I'm returning mine immediately. So disappointed. Amazon, this seller should be removed!

There are no instructions with these templates. I have already broken my sewing machine foot trying to use these. Definitely a waste of money.
