When I ordered this waves ruler, I didn't realize I was ordering it all the way from China. But having said that, it got here within a couple of weeks. Not bad at all for China! It wasn't broken either and is definitely thick enough for those who want to use it with a longarm quilting machine. I just have a domestic. But I just plan to use the ruler for marking my quilt top so I can then quilt with my domestic machine, or hand quilt. One star off for a discoloration on one tip as though it got dinged up a tiny bit, but no breakage nor does it change the shape any

This is perfect for cake decorating. I use for cutting curves on fondant. So many uses. No need to make a template with this.
