Nice valve to control hot water temperture , I have one on my system now thought it was going bad could adjust but after a little work I got it to adjust, will keep this one in the event the other one stops working, been in use for about 9 years, may take it off and try to clean and rebuild.

This unit will provide stable temperature after several minutes on my 1.5GPM shower head, but DOES NOT maintain temperature when the toilet is flushed. The temperature changes to very hot for the duration of the toilet filling process. The mixing valve built into my shower does a better job, its just not thermostatic. I have bypassed my shower mixing valve and this unit still does the same as described above.

Just had one of these valves installed. The valve dispenses water at about 13 degrees above its rated temperature. I dont know what practical use these could have.
