Installation
Detachable Clip Mount Bracket (included)
1. Attach Detachable Clip Mount Bracket to light by turning the clip bracket clockwise until it is tight. Hand tighten only.
2. Open clips, to attach Detachable Clip Mount Bracket to picture frame. For frames 1/2" to 1-1/4" thick.
3. Adjust neck and tilt head to desired position.
Detachable Screw Mount Bracket (included)
1. Remove Detachable Clip Mount Bracket from flexible neck by rotating the Clip Mount Bracket counter-clockwise until loose.
2. Place screw end of flexible neck into screw mount bracket. Hand tighten only. Do not over tighten.
3. Place screw mount bracket over top of the frame with the screw holes facing the back of frame.
4.Drill a pilot hole for each screw.Insert up to three (3) screws (included) through the holes in the screw mount bracket to secure properly.
5. Adjust neck and tilt head to desired position.
Replacement remote control battery:
Unscrew the screw on the back of remote, and then pull out the battery box to change the remote battery.

Easy to clip on picture frame. Nice aesthetic. Not as bright as would have liked however the cordless feature is perfect. Several light options.

I was hesitant to order this art light at first, because at the time of purchase it had zero reviews. I decided to go for it and am I ever glad that I did, because it has far exceeded my expectations! I was worried about the finish, because in the photos on line it seemed a little odd, but I thought that I could always paint it if it wasn't right. As it turns out I was totally wrong because not only is the finish nice, but it was an uncanny match to the vintage frame on the painting it was meant to illuminate (see photos).Additionally I had a small issue with the lamp and the seller went above and beyond to help me! It was only the second time in all of my Amazon purchases that I've had to contact a seller and I was very pleased (and grateful!) for the level (and speed!) of their response and service.PROS:*Rechargeable. You don't have to buy batteries or plug it in. I have both plug in and battery operated art lights and this is FAR superior in convenience and looks.*Cost. It's reasonably priced.*Lightweight. I was able to use Command strips to hang it (I'm going to rehang it with Command velcro which I would highly recommend if you don't want to drill into the wall, because it's very forgiving...you can adjust/level it if you mount it a little off of level.)*Easy to install (see above.)*Better looking than the price would reflect (does it look like a $300 dollar art light? No, but it looks pretty dang good, especially for the price.)*Remote control (This is fantastic more for what it does than for the few steps it saves me to turn it on/off...see below)*SO MANY OPTIONS! With the remote control you can change the quality of the light (amber or white) the intensity (DIMMABLE...love!!!) and even put it on a timer, which is ideal for saving battery power.CONS:*Remarkably, almost no cons, which almost never happens on Amazon! I do wish that the housing was a little bit more low profile and didn't sit "up" from the frame, but this is MINOR and more about my esthetic sensibility/personal preference than anything else.BOTTOM LINE: Buy with confidence. This is a reasonably priced way to showcase a special piece of art, or simply to elevate any piece! If you're considering an art light do NOT hesitate to purchase this one!(I will try to update with a video showing light options and also to comment on battery longevity after I've used it a little longer, but so far it looks like the battery has staying power!)

I recently brought (4) of these portable lights to add lightening to my Art showcase. The quality of the lights are great and one remote can be used to operate each individual light, even though each light comes with a remote I didn’t want to carry (4) remotes at one time. All the features were fully operable. Great Buy!!

It's a great light with a few different brightness options but where you can put it in extremely limited because you have to take the whole assembly off to charge it unless you run a charger and extension cord all the way up to where the light is. I wish I bought the one with the removable bulb section so I could just plug that in instead of having to take the whole thing off. I would return it but it's too late I've had it too long. Learn from my mistake!

This light has been very nice to use! Easy clip on, remote control works nice, rechargeable power supply is sweet. Removes shadows from dart board and stays out or the way of high flying darts.!

The picture lamp is used to light up a very large map. It charged well and works flawlessly. We are very happy with it.Just wish the remote was slightly larger!
