I am no stranger to assembling items to take advantage of a lower price but this one is too much assembly in my opinion.If I have to go back a step because I misread the directions, that is on me. But when the product is mislabelled and I have to undo several steps to figure out the problem, that makes me a very unhappy shopper. This is what has happened with this product. Quality control should have caught this. Pieces 2 and 3 are labelled incorrectly so I when I found a piece that didn't fit correctly a few steps later, I had to spend extra time figuring out the problem. I have added a photo of the directions and put a yellow circle on the part you will need to double check to see if it is backwards on the one you get. The directions are correct but my piece 3 was marked as piece 2 and 2 marked as 3 and you won't catch it if you don't pay attention to the cutout I highlighted. The directions were also hard to see clearly on where to install the rails, the photo makes it look like they are positioned all the way to the back, but the predrilled holes are correct. Another error when installing the other part of the rail on the drawer- The pieces are exactly the same but the directions show one side pointed differently(top to bottom), but it is not possible to orient the pieces I received to match the photo.Additionally, there are 4 screws on each caster(wheel) and I feel like that is a lot more assembly than anyone wants to do and a better design could have made assembly less annoying.Overall, i have spent close to 2 hours assembling a one drawer file box and in this case it was not worth the savings of just buying something that was already assembled. Once I did manage to assemble it, the item seems sturdy.

Product is nicely made , but unless you have a degree in engineering it is almost impossible to put together… there are no instructions at all ..hopefully you have enough common sense to look at the picture of the product to assemble..

This is the perfect portable size for kids leaving for college or newly married in order to keep track of all their important documents. Its sturdy and attractive with the wood grain. It can accomodate different sizes of file folders. You can choose to use wheels or legs on the bottom so lots of adjustability. Small enough to fit on a counter, under a desk or large enough to be on the floor. A classy way to store your papers. I did take a star off because the directions were a bit confusing and we ended up having to rebuild several parts throughout the process despite being very familiar putting this type of furniture together.

At 80 years old, I found it a bit tricky, but with patience, it came together perfectly. If I can assemble this rolling file cart, anyone can!While it’s not made of real wood, the surface features a stylish, textured design that I really like. It fits perfectly behind my desk chair, and I plan to transfer some files from my desk drawers into it—just what I needed! The top also provides a great spot for a paper holder or other office essentials, helping to keep my desk neat and organized.I highly recommend this filing cabinet, but I do advise having some patience during assembly. It’s well worth the effort!

This was the first time I've wanted to genuinely toss a DIY piece of furniture - the holes for the drawer mechanics don't match so I finagled a system and overall the cabinet is fine. I will say that because the holes don't align that the drawer slightly droops on one side which is annoying.
