Good for organizing mail. Drawer is kind of a joke, made of a fabric for the interior, but it does hold items. Easy to assemble

This was extremely easy to assemble. It is sturdy and well-made. Our mail usually got stacked into piles on whatever flat space was closest to the door. With a busy household and everybody receiving mail, bills were getting missed, checks getting buried, people opening up other people's mail by mistake...this solved all the problems. Each slot we have designated for a family member and one for shared items such as magazines, circulars, etc.Whoever gets the mail that day, acts as the postman and sorts out the mail. For those who do not regularly check their mail, we have made a rule to empty the personal slots at the end of the week. This way nothing gets lost or forgotten.The key hooks on the side are nice and well made, but I don't find them necessary for this.Its attractive and the perfect size!

Sides and base are pretty solid, heavy about 1/2" thick. Slats for the dividers are at best 1/8". They will bow with a bit of weight on them, but have yet to fall out. The drawer is fabric, so don't expect to put much weight in there. The clips and hangers on the sides are sturdy enough to hold keys, lanyards, badges but way less than a pound if you want to keep them hanging. It's a nice unit, looks great and is heavy enough, but it is not heavy duty.

I ordered this to hangup on my wall as a catch all for the paper that comes into my house on a daily basis but I didn't feel like it was going to stay on the wall well enough so I ended up using it downstairs for an organizer on my desk. It was easy to assemble but I don't think it will stay on the wall overtime!
