Listen, if someone wants to get into your hood, they will. This at least makes it a little more difficult and is a nice deterrent.Took about 5 minutes to install. Feels solid, the lock works, and I "wrapped" the metal keyhole to match the rest of the car. For the price, I don't think it can be beat!

The reason for not giving 5 stars is that it's hard to tell if it is locked or not. These will not stop the aggressive thieves, but will delay & discourage :) One other thing is there is hard plastic & not rubber where they come together. I think this is a much better option that the factory or other through the grill options. I plan to lock these only at certain times, when I feel like it :) The fit & tightness is perfect! I used the original nuts that came with the Wrangler 4Xe.

These lockable hood latches are impressive. Took about 5 minutes to install both sides and they are extremely sturdy. I'd even say they are better than the OEM ones that came on my Jeep. They keep the hood very secure whether or not the locks are engaged. Great piece of mind knowing it's going to be a lot tougher gaining access to the engine bay. Would definitely recommend.

Really happy with this purchase. It was easy to install, looks great, and adds a lot of security to the car. I used the factory nuts/fasteners rather the one provided in this kit and worked out great. Would recommend this to anyone.

Very low quality. Locking mechanisms started rusting after a few weeks. Don't waste your money.

Couldn’t buy the hood lock since my Jeep came with front camera but these worked great. Only 1 issue they are starting to rust. How can something that’s designed to go on the outside of a vehicle start rusting? Other then that they work great.
