This is some heavy duty Velcro (oops, I mean hook and loop fastener). The adhesive is very strong and the hook and loop holds very well but still allows you to separate it if you start slowly on one corner. I have a boat cushion that wants to fly out when I am towing the boat down the Interstate at 70 mph. This works great for keeping in fastened down. So far the adhesive has held up well to heat and water.

The joining of the pieces are not the classic hook and loop of standard Velcro like fasteners. As shown in the product images - the fasteners are more like flexible pegs or as they describe them mushrooms - both sides of the fasteners are the same and interlock exceptionally well to provide strong grip.The fasteners seem to be made with quality, durable material with strong adhesive.I wish they offered a set with more than 8 pieces or alternative sizes like 2x2 or even 3x2.I would buy again and I would recommend to family and friends.

these hook n loop stick on's do what they claim. they will hold alot of weight. I was surprised when I first used them. It's hard to believe they can hold so well. I have them holding a desk lamp onto the vertical part of my desk at work. They haven't moved an inch since putting them on a while ago. The adds aren't exaggerating. I'd recommend.

I used these to hang some moving blankets on my walls (for soundproofing), and while it didn't actually work for my intended purpose, it was no fault of the product. These aren't designed to adhere to fabric like that, but even using it in this way provided surprisingly good results—at least until they came loose from the fabric. The piece that adhered to the wall seemed almost like it was molecularly bonded, and when I took it off it actually took the paint off rather than come off otherwise, it was that strong. I can see that being a negative for people, but if you use it where it's intended to be permanent it should be perfect.

These are 3M branded Dual Lock strips and not the standard fabric hook and loop as described. This style 'velcro' uses interlocking plastic posts. Heavier duty and longer lasting then standard velcro and that might affect your usage. These pieces are very stiff and thick at .20" total.Please reference the images for the actual product. 3M is the best, but these may not be what you're looking for.
