These hooks are probably the heaviest duty you will find on Amazon. They are formed from 3/8-inch diameter round stock- I do not know what they are rated at, but it is hard to imagine what it would take to break one in terms of things you want to store by hanging: In my personal opinion, the 50 pound weight limit given in the specs seems on the low end to me (Just MY opinion), but I have not tested that and so cannot say for sure. Also, the small bend that goes over the joist (2x) has about 1/8-inch slop in inside width - perfect for the job.

These are great for storing stuff from the rafters of your garage or shed. I used them to hang a few bikes so far. I like them because they aren't permanent and I am not sure they are in the final storage spot so I can move them easily later. They are also thick so seem like they can handle a lot of weight.

I attached 2 x 2s to the joists on the bottom of the loft in my shed. These hooks are perfect for storing / hanging a variety of items. They are perfect in this application. I have done the same in my cellar.

Very nice for the money. Solid construction. Very thick and durable vinyl coating. I gave it 4/5 stars for sturdiness and durability because they're still new and I haven't had the chance to put anything more than 50lbs on it yet. I will definitely buy more.

I needed these type hooks to install in my new pole barn! They work great on the wall boards to hold everything without having to put screw holes into the wall boards!

These are sturdy hooks that easily fit your standard garage rafter board. They aren't the cheapest version of them but their rubber covers prevent them from scratching your bikes and they are strong enough that you could easily use then for pull ups.
