The door I removed (also an aftermarket door) was much more solid with a metal feeling door. This one feels like inexpensive plastic. It is very light. Installation was easy although access to the back of the old one was much more complicated due to additional panels blocking my hand inside. The cover looks fine from the outside but durability of both, the plastic door and the design on it is yet to be determined.

Easy to install and good quality, it doesn’t have the tab on the backside that goes in the hole of the body that keeps it from turning or moving, but it stays in place unless you turn it yourself. My wife loves the way it looks on the Jeep and that’s all that counts!!

Looks great, was pretty easy to install after watching a you tube video. The paper instructions are not so step by step. You’ll need a regular, and Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. The pliers helped pull out the OEM rubber ring, flat head for the flanges on the OEM gas door and Phillips for the tail light removal. The little aluminum pin did break on mine during install, it did seem to line up correctly, so the slight angle snapped it off with very slight pressure while pushing the new one in place.
