They are easy to use and put up, I had a few problems at first but realized I had not been cleaning the area I was going to place them, so I redone them and just cleaned as I went. No problem after that. Holds the lights with no problem either.

While these clips do their duty, I just feel they are priced way too high for so few clips. $.75 per piece is certainly something that can be beaten by others.

I bought some string lights and wanted an easy way to hang the lights, so I got this set of cord clips. The clips have adhesive strips on the back and just peel the backing and stick. The instructions have clear illustrations of what materials the clips can stick to, as well as clear installation steps. I used up the whole box to put up a string of lights.The adhesive stays on well after leaving it for a day as instructed. Putting in the cord requires two hands as the clips are pretty strong and do not open easily. However, the strong clips create a strong hold on the cords, and if the cords are thick enough, they won't slide either. I was able to keep the string cords fairly taut and make the lights look good outside my house. The price is pretty good for its adhesion and strength.

I tried sticking to wood it kept falling off. The glue isn’t good. It is also not holding the wire properly.

Other reviewers have complained about how difficult it is to get the cord into the clips and yes, if you are trying to do it with one hand the clips are tight, and it will be tougher. But is you use both hands it's no problem. It seems to adhere well, but time will tell. The clips will definitely hold the cord but look at the advert, it the cord is thick then these clips could be too small.Overall, I have no complaints. Thumbs up from me.
