These are well made. The precision is perfect, allowing you the confidence that they won’t fail. I use them as test fittings for diagnosing propane leaks. They do the job just fine.

The Hooshing 3/8 flare fittings are the same quality that I found in all 3 of the big box stores that I looked in for comparison. The flare surface (the sealing surface) on all 4 flares has scratches, nicks, & dings. But every single flare fitting I looked at in all of the retail stores looked just the same or worse.I had planned to use these on flexible propane lines. I think I’ll put them aside for use on something other than explosive gasses.

One had a small nick in the threads but since they are brass that's a non-issue it will straighten out on the install. The flares are true and they are clean no shavings.

All photos are actual product. Quality look pretty good. One fitting has a nick on the taper, and could probably benefit from better packaging. Overall, I am happy with this product.Made in China

These brass union fittings are well made. Highly recommend.
