Now putting some light on the area I'm vacuuming again. Good OE Hoover upright stake-in bulb. Just pull the old one out, line it up and push this one in. Works great.

This light bulb works perfectly in my Hoover Self-Propelled Wind Tunnel, Model U6441-940. Our vacuum is about 22 years old. Hopefully, this new bulb will last as long as the first one. It was very easy to install. Simply remove the two screws holding the light cover on (located at the bottom front of the vacuum below where the bag door is), unplug the old bulb and plug in the new one. Then replace the cover. Works great!

I ordered two bulbs, but only received one. That's a mystery to me!A couple of days after filing my complaint, I received a message from the seller apologizing for the oversight, and promising to send me the second bulb pronto. Much appreciated! I've changed my rating from three to five stars.
