I bought this vacuum specifically because I have dogs and cats that shed A LOT! Tumbleweeds of fur go floating by. We have an iRobot vacuum and use it every other day, but it has struggled with the large hair clumps when our dogs are blowing out their coats. We also have two long hair cats that shed constantly too. Our old bagless Hoover finally surrendered, and it was time to shop again. We have mainly hardwood floors with large living area carpets with a low pile. Our upstairs is all Berber carpeting.PROSExtremely good suction. In fact, thin rugs are difficult to vacuum (door mats, office chair carpet pads). It gets up everything in the carpet. There is little to none dirt blow back. Meaning, if you are vacuuming kitty litter, it's not blowing back half of it on your shoes. It is very easy to empty. In fact, a little easier than our other canister vacuum by Hoover. It REALLY picks up dirt and dust. You can see it when you empty it, which is gross and satisfying all at once. The attachments are conveniently placed on the vacuum. They are heavy duty, a good length, and have excellent suction, especially for getting fur off of couches and chairs, etc.The weight seems to add to it's ability to clean more deeply into the carpet.Despite it's heft, it maneuvers well.It has rubber wheels, which I like much better than the hard plastic style.CONSIt's loud, but in addition to being loud, it seems to have a high pitched whine to it that I can hear in any part of the house when it's being used. However, I have Hyperacusis, so I use hearing protection when I vacuum, so it's an easily solved issue. It's heavy. Someone in their review weighed it at 17lbs. I'm a small, spaghetti-armed person, so it feels heavy to move around. The biggest challenge is moving it up steps and of course vacuuming them (carpeted). But if you have someone stronger in the family, make a deal, they move it up and down stairs, and you will vacuum, or make them vacuum. If you live alone, this will be the "something" you dislike about the vacuum if you have to use it on two floors. The cost. It was a bit prohibitive to me at first. I typically purchase the Hoover bagless vacuums for under $100. So, this was a tough sell. However, I recognize that you do get what you pay for more often than not. I think the cost is worth it if you need it for housekeeping caused by pets and their hair. It's proven so far to be worth the money.

I bought this vacuum in 2021. It's still powerful and great for pet fur. I bought this to use at my mom's house. She has 6 indoor/ outdoor cats and I vacuum once a week for her. I had been using another bagless upright. The first time I used this vacuum, the carpet appeared to change color because it was removing so much more dirt! Gross, but rewarding. The power wand is genius. I can easily pull it and get the baseboards and edges of the carpet. The attachment for ceiling fans coupled with the Power wand is brilliant. Those cats get fur on fan blades! Gross, but easy to clean now while I'm standing in the ground. I'm 5'3". I used to have to get a step stool to clean the ceiling fan. I love this vacuum. It's so powerful and strong that it's a little bit of a workout to use it, but so worth it. I could set it for a higher carpet level, but I keep it low so that it gets every bit of fur and ick. The little turning upholstery brush is good for removing fur off furniture. With 6 cats bringing in sand from the yard, I think we've put this vacuum to the test. I've had to replace the belt when it was bound up from hair, but it was easy and inexpensive. Highly recommend.

I’ve only had this vacuum a couple of months, but it works great. I have only 4 stars because the buttons and release mechanisms seem cheap compared to my prior vac’s (sharks). It is also a little heavy. However, it seems to work as well as any vacuum I am have had, making it a great value, if it holds up.

Only the master bedroom has carpets here. I had a little cruddy vacuum that used to work okay in a 1-bedroom apartment 15 years ago lol. I got a little lazy during pandemic, and after one of the dogs passed away I didn't feel the need to vacuum as much. The result was a room with carpets so dirty, dusty, hairy, filthy - that I had kind of given up hope and was about to rip out the last carpet in the house. I have a bad back and knew that I would end up hurting myself using a heavy duty vacuum. As you can read above, the excuses not to vacuum were plentiful. I bought this Pet Max Complete so that I could focus on pulling up all the dog hair. It isn't too heavy for me to use with my bad back problems. And let me tell you -- I was "floored" (get it?) to see just how much filth and hair this machine was able to pull up. I had to empty the cannister every 5 minutes (great suction). It was working so well that I tried every attachment and spent hours on the room. Worked great on fan blades, fixtures, blinds & curtains, getting hair off the bedding, cobwebs, dusting, edges and floorboards. I did have to move some of the larger furniture to clean behind it, but otherwise it was able to maneuver just fine. I was able to clean out the underside of the treadmill using the attachments, and that is where so much dog hair had gotten trapped.By the time I was done, I had a "tall kitchen" size garbage bag more then 3/4 full of all the mung it had vacuumed up for me. The vacuum works so well, and it's so easy to use - I've gotten back in the habit of vacuuming again. For me, buying this vacuum saved the carpet and saved me the cost of new flooring. (I also had to use my 20-year-old steam vac to really finish the job, but still!).

Works great, we have 2 dogs and one sheds terribly so have to vacuum every day to keep up with him. It is a heavier vacuum that my old one but it also works way better. We also live where there are coal mines and there’s a lot of fine dust that seems to make it in the house and this picks up an amazing amount every time I use it. No lack of suction and it’s easy to switch from carpet to hard floors. The wand releases easily and can get the right corners without much effort.

This vacuum works very well and what it is intended for. Cat hair is picked up very well and the suction is good. It is quite loud and will not work well on stairs in my opinion because the wand attachment is stiff and not long enough. I received the version that the brush keeps rolling when the wand is being used which is irritating. I find the foot lever does release with alittle more force and it maneuvers ok. It does not shoot out the litter from the back end which is nice on a hard surface. I would recommend it to pick up pet hair for sure as I vacuumed up a whole other cat I didn't know I had. Works for its intended purpose but might be alittle loud and awkward for someone older, a senior.

Lo único malo es que no tiene el cable retráctil. Tengo un modelo anterior y era más útil que se guardara el cable de manera fácil.
