Pretty new to the hobby, I was going to return these as like with most people who have because they are not compatible with the Traxxas charger until I was shown how to actually charge it on a Traxxas charger. You need to remove the little plastic cover on the left of the main charging point and connect your balance line there, then plug in the main battery line. Then you need to hold down the “charge rate select†button and the “start/stop button at the same time. What this does is allow you to select the type of battery (lipo/nimh) and the type of charge you want (fast, balance, store) and also the charge rate select (1A,2A,3A,4A) once you have selected those you hold the start button and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.
