Tension knob makes blade maintenance and replacement easier, just twist tight when ready to work and twist loose to release tension when storing, cleaning, or replacing the blade

I've owned a few bow saws over the years. This one reduces the effort required to cut by 4 or 5 times. Very ergonomic and easy to start cuts.

I ordered this to do landscape cuttings on agave plants and trees. The blade was too harsh, rough for my needs. Not the fault of the saw or the company. Just too harsh for what my particular needs were.

The bow saw is just the tool I needed to saw some logs for a home landscaping project. Not knowing much about saws I picked this one for the cushy handle. Cushion is large and well placed, but the foam is not durable, it started to tear, so I wrapped edges with heavy-duty packing tape. Ugly but it works, which is what you want from a tool.
