Graduation increments are now in 1/8 inch (~0.3cm) to allow a finite reading. The Hopkins Measure Mat II features patented color-coded measurement markings to reduce user interpretation errors and promote accuracy. Measurement instructions printed on each mat are in English, French, and Spanish for multiple users. It’s portable and easy to carry to the patient. The baby height measuring mat is 4’ 4.45’’L x 12’’W with a measuring range of 39’’. It has gradations of 1/8"" allowing for accurate reading.

I make home visits and needed a reliable way to measure infants. A tape measure is not reliable enough when you are assessing an infant for FTT. This is perfect! It came with a bag and is easy to tote. It is also easy to clean. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this product for a research study specifically because it was suppose to have increments of 1 mm on the mat. It only had 1 cm and 0.5 cm increments, even though the description specifically said it had 1 mm. I emailed the company and they refunded my order, however it does not help the fact that I wasted time trying to get a product that was not what I needed, and I still need an infantometer for my study. Other than that, it seemed up to par with other infantometers that I have seen.

Item arrived a day earlier than expected, in excellent condition and came with a drawstring bag. This infantometer is of high quality making it worth the price. I thought of getting the other brands that go for $10 cheaper but good thing I didn’t.
