The scent of the lavender and chamomile is so relaxing. I use this in my diffuser at night before bed and it makes the room smell fantastic. The scent lasted a long time. I would have given this product 5 stars but the plastic part on the top of the bottle didn’t allow the oil to come out so I had to remove it for use.

I make homemade soap with a method called cold process. During this soap making method, you typically add fragrance oils or essential oils to the oils, before adding in the lye water. I’ve had 2 flopped batches in the last 2 weeks. (By “flopâ€, I mean the soap immediately seized [i.e., hardened] when I turned on the stick blender to blend the oils and lye water.) The one thing common to both batches is the fragrance oil in both of them was Horbäach brand. (The other Horbäach scent that made the soap seize was Wisteria.) I’ve never used other Horbäach scents, so I can say both times I’ve used Horbäach fragrances resulted in a failed batch of soap. I can also say those are my only 2 soap failures. The reason for my 2-star rating (instead of 1 star) is because the scents are great, so if you use them in diffusers or other projects than soap, I think these fragrances would be a good value. Just not in cold process soap. (These fragrances may very well work just fine in soap created with the melt & pour method, I don’t know.)
