Adding on to my existing holders from another maker (seems to be the same, except for the color). These socket holders are perfect for the home/occasional user. The sockets are help firmly by a small ball bearing so you can pick up the holder and bring it with you if needed. If I was a mechanic, I would still use them but might opt for a holder where I could quicky pick up or slide off the socket from the holder. Fair price and very functional.

Overall this is a decent design with a couple of stupid drawbacks which could have easily been avoided. This is yet another product designed (copied?) and manufactured by a company which never even tried to use it. Spend 5 seconds with the product and you will see these problems.1 - Forget the tabs at the end of the slides which lock in the clips. They are useless. They don't work (maybe only for the 1/4 fasteners) and they are much too brittle. The issue is that the 1/2 and 3/4 drive clips have a cavity on the underside so even if you do manage to push down the tab without breaking it, and get it under the front edge of the clip, it will get caught on the underside inside the cavity. You simply CAN NOT remove the 1/2 and 3/4 clips with those tabs in place. My recommendation is to simply break them off and get it over with. Then you can move the clips around. Not only do the tabs NOT work, but they are going to break real quick anyway. Just get it over with! So no one in the factory ever tried to remove a clip?2 - The handle is held onto the carrier by rolling the steel at the end of the carrier. ...and that roll is to the underside of the carrier. As a result, the carrier will NEVER lay flat in your toolbox. There will always be a little gap on the underside (regardless of whether the handle is "out" or folded under. This is why so many folks have posted photos of broken rails. A nice cold day with a little flex in the tray and the rails will fracture. (The plastic (ABS?) the rails are made out of is also too brittle to begin with). Personally, I would rather have the metal rolled in front of the tray (instead of under) to eliminate the gap/flex even if it means the handle can't be folded underneath...But otherwise these work. They hold the sockets nicely and once you break off the tabs you can move the clips around between trays.

Getting this rack for my socket drawer saved me from buying a bigger tool box. Organization is a wonderful thing. It is a good size for what I have. Well made and easy to use. It's sturdy and should last forever.

These are great organizers for toolboxes that stay in a shop. Really easy to use, easy to remove and add clips as needed. Really awesome addition to a box.My issue is that I bought these for a work truck and have broken quite a few clips driving down bumpy lease roads, especially on cold mornings. I need socket organization as I have roughly 250 sockets in my truck that I don’t want to dig through. These work ok in my truck, but they don’t work great.

I don't like a lot of wasted space but even with bigger sockets, these are gapped just perfectly. Definitely worth it for medium sized to smaller tool box. The current rails I have are awesome but too long to put my metrics on one side and standards on other. Only thing I can see being different is clips come separately from base.

I bought three different brands to get three different clip colors, they are all the same in all respects and likely made in the same factory.I have no idea why they do not make these with all 3/8", or all 1/2", or all 1/4", or why they do not seem to sell bags of replacement clips. I bought three one for my SAE, one for my metric, and one for everything else, including short extensions, Allen keys, screwdriver bits, hex bits, socket adapters, etc.The set comes with too many 1/2" and too few 3/8" for most homeowners. However, the tray is very durable, and unless you have huge sets of sockets, you will be unlikely to overfill these as I have.I hang mine from a pegboard, which is nice and gave me more drawer space for other things. The clips hold the parts snugly even when hanging on the pegboard. The product is durable.Recommend!
