Tension is maintained by means of a handle which tightens the 4 metre long woven canvas strap linked to the tensioning unit.
The corner braces can be removed if you want to use these on irregular shaped objects.

The device is plastic so I don't know how long it will last but I was impressed how easily I can glue together a frame in a fraction of the time vs other jigs I've used in the past. Wish I had known how awesome this design is years ago. I plan on buying more of these.

I only have two hands so I used this and it worked fantastic to rebuild a cabinet door. Plenty of more jobs in the future. Great product, well made.

My only complaint on this tool is some helpful tips would be nice. The clamp works great and I don’t have an issue with the parts being plastic. I dunno what else you’d expect for the price, and they do the job nicely. It does seem initially like you DO need 3 hands to use it however. So, either get a helper or be ready to invest some time in figuring out a real world way of using it.

The easy installation eliminates struggle and frustration with aligning mitered corners. The threated handle is perfect, great grip and controls tension on the belt slowly which allows the user to adjust the frame joints. I have used professional framing vises costing over $100 and this band clamp does the job much faster. All four corners are glued at once. No concern for the glue drying before clamping. The mechanism and corner braces stay in place and the threaded tightener allows for precise tension. This is a sturdy tool that I expect to have in use for a long time. Well worth the money. Don’t waste your time and money on one at a time corner clamps.

Working well so far, not sure about the long term though as the gripper that locks the belt to the handle feels a little flimsy. I don’t plan to put a lot of stress on it for the kind of jobs it will be used for, so maybe should last a while.

To much movement on the item clamped with 45 degree corners. In other words wouldn’t really hold things square while waiting on the glue to dry.

These have a great range of adjustments and after a few minutes they are very easy to set up and apply to your projects. I recommend

If I could give it negative stars I would. It looks good but is cheaply made. Does not work as represented. Finally took the strap ( that was advertised to do the tightening when fed through the good looking but useless handle), wrapped it around the chair legs, and tightened the strap like a tourniquet. I would not even sell this item in a garage sale.
