I bought the frame and 2 each of the 1/4" and XLR patch bays to go in the same rack with a Behringer Rx1202FX mixer. I only had 1 rack space and needed both sorts of connectors so this is really the only cheap solution. The frame is sturdy and seats well in the rack. You need to check where you want the modules (and their orientation, you can mount them front or rear facing), the screws need a small Allen key (included) and are a pain but they hold the modules secure. The XLR patch bays have 3 Male/Female sockets and are decent quality. The 1/4" patch bays have 4x pairs of balanced (TRS) connectors, they are not such good quality, patch cables don't really fit in tightly, there's some movement but I haven't seen any fall out yet.I only give it 4 stars cos it's not the highest quality piece of kit, and probably won't take a lot of abuse. But overall the system works well for me, it saves the hassle of going round back to connect equipment, and it was easy on the budget.[Cut & paste to the rack and module reviews too!]

Nice construction and XLR connections look solid. For my purposes, I kind of wish it was a little heavier, so it would sit more reliably without sliding around. I have it on a desk. it's fine, but maybe it would benefit from the application of some little rubber feet or a velcro patch. All in all, good product.
