Many customers have suggested that we add a 'PTT(push to talk)' one-way walkie-talkie function.
Previously, our two-way real-time full-duplex calling function required the other party to answer the call for communication, just like a phone call. Some customers suggested we retain full-duplex calling while adding a feature where you can talk by pressing the TALK button without needing the other party to answer. We have accomplished this.
Now, you have two choices to communicate with others.

I bought four of these for communication in my house, this saves A LOT of yelling to find people and saves time for sure. You can change the ring tones and the voice over these units is clear.

Purchased to connect 2 bedrooms on main level.... they work great.... I have an older set of 3 between my house and my 2 workshops I purchased about 5-7 years ago and they still work great.... I especially like the 2 way conversation free hand... the newer ones are smaller in size with no On/Off button but otherwise the same.. hope they last as long in functionality..... Very easy setup...

I bought these intercoms as my elderly parents had just moved into a larger house. My dad has limited mobility, and my mom was worried about being too far away from him in the house. We just set these up last week, and they are exactly what we needed in this situation. Using the intercoms is as simple as could be - you just hit the group call button, it rings the rest of the intercoms, and then from any of the other intercoms you can answer the call and start a conversation. It's clear when a call is active, and also really simple to end a call. My measure is really whether my elderly mom can learn how to do it, and she absolutely did.The intercoms also allow for a bit more complex functionality, like setting them on different channels and allowing 1:1 calls between intercoms. We don't need that for our use case, so I don't know how easy it is to set up. But for what we needed, these were perfect - easy to set up and learn, reliable, and the audio came through very clearly.

I quite enjoy the intercom. It works well and the voice is clear in transmission.I bought this as an upstairs downstairs intercom so that I don’t have to yell at my kids. I wish we could just talk without calling first. It would be nice to just push a button and say “kids come down for dinner†instead of ringing them. It makes it a bit more time taking and it’s almost easier to just walk to the stairs and yell up. But hence, trying to stop the yelling.Overall a great product that does what it advertises

Clumsier and more time-consuming than using the cell phone. I thought I could push a button and have my voice go out into the separate areas of coverage, but no - someone has to answer first. No utility for us; there's just two of us in a big rambling house, and we never know where we are. We're too old to go shouting after each other whenever there's a call or a package. These things work well - but they're more trouble than using the cell phone.

At first, I was about 3 or 4 feet from the unit microphone. This didn't work too well. If your voice is within 1.5 to 2 feet of the unit--they work great. I like that once you answer, you can speak without having to press "push to talk". Simultaneous talk and listen capability is provided by the bidirectional circuit, similar to the old telephone landline. I bought the four unit version and have the base in the kitchen and the other three units in basement and upper level. I don't always have my cell phone in hand and if I do, it's not always charged--so these intercoms provide a reliable way to communicate. I wish they had more ring tones. One ring tone sounds like a doorbell--I don't need any confusion between doorbell and intercom. Other ring tones are musical--don't care for those. Wish it had more generic ring tones. Other than a minor gripe about ring tone selection, these units work very well.

Seems OK for our outside annexe about 100 ft from the house. Range gets considerably restricted if there are windows
