These do a great job and wash easily. Only issue for me is the material of my hot tub won't allow the suction cups to stay in place.

I heard about these scum absorbers, and [reluctantly] purchased them since these had same features, but priced less than other leading brands on Amazon. I figured if they didn’t work, I could [at least] leave them in the hot tub as cute decor. But, after using them for just a couple days, I noticeably see that they’re actually absorbing the residue floating on the surface of the water. I even see less formation of scum lines.The benefits of using these absorbers are three-fold. (1) They’re convenient; take them out of the packaging and simply drop them into the water. Used in combination with the free water test strips [included in the kit] makes for a money-saving cleaning solution because you use less chemicals. (2) Their reusability also make them [ultimately] a more cost-effective option to the disposable versions since you don’t have to replace them, (3) making these an eco-friendly option.In my opinion, these are worth the buy just because they make cleaning your hot tub so much easier and they save you money in the long-run.

We've only had them a couple weeks, but they seem to help to lessen or prevent the ring build up at the water line, and the lotions and oils on the surface. There have been many thunderstorms lately, so the pool and spa water level have raised, too. The kids love them and we don't have to worry about any chemicals when they handle them. They come with a suction cup to stick it in one place, but we've let it just float around. There is also a scrub cloth to clean any residue on the pool walls that we used where there was build up when we started to use the turtle. There are two turtles so you can still get have one in the water while washing the one that's been used. Recommend so far!
