My previous set eventually stopped working after about 5 yrs. I think they are a good deterrent.

I had to cut and solder certain car alarm components and was not able to finish before dark, so used these as a temporary deterrent so the car prowlers/thieves would assume the alarm system was armed. They are fairly cheaply made, one stopped on the 2nd day and I don't think they would last long out in the weather, but cost-wise, this item worked for Me. Thanks, Amazon. -Bud

I use these as an animal deterrent. There are expensive products that use a battery and flash a red light that scares animals away.I use these because they are cheap and made for motorcycles. They charge during the day and blink every 5 seconds all night. They stay out in the weather all the time and they are almost a year old now and still work.Turn them on and peal the backing and stick them on, that's it.

This has been pretty solid for us. We live in a city with bad break-ins, and since I set this up, it has definitely been easier to sleep. Thief’s think it’s an alarm system so they’ve left our cars alone. It charges with solar power so I don’t have to worry about batteries. It’s a great option if you want some security without paying for an expensive system.

I like that’s it’s solar and don’t have to mess with batteries or hard wired. See how long it last over time

There have been car break-ins in the neighborhood, where the windows were broken. The vehicle has an alarm system, but I'm using it to deter the kids doing this.

blink brightly every three seconds. seems to recharge well enough through tiny solar cell.
