This is a very good rain bird sprinkler. It works great and the base is nice and heavy. I’ve had others that kind of flopped around because the motion of aRain Bird type sprinkler and the bases were too light. So the base is heavy, but also the quality of it is really good. It’s either painted or powder coated with nice thick paint. Love this thing and I’m definitely ordering more.

I recently had to return an AINEED Sprinkler because it stopped oscillating after one use -- see my review notes for that product.I bought this very similar Hourleey oscillating sprinkler, hoping it's more reliable. It came well packaged and it was easy to attach the sprinkler head to the base. Every part seems to be well made, and the sprinkler operated/oscillated properly on first use. Can only hope that continues. It's sufficiently solid/heavy to sit steadily on the turf when watering. One negative -- and this is clear in reading the product description -- is that this sprinkler doesn't come with a quick-connect attachment to apply to the hose inlet, so I wasn't surprised by its absence.Here's hoping that this sprinkler continues to work well and that return is unnecessary.

I purchased 2 of these and used them every day for almost a month to water my new lawn. Easy to use and worked perfectly.

Excellent sprinkler for watering the lawn. High quality hose connection eliminates any leaks at the hose and sprinkler provides excellent coverage on the lawn.

Despite multiple attempts to make sure the hose was tightly and securely attached to the base, water spewed out on both sides of the attachment. The sprinkler mechanism worked fine but the base did not, wasting far too much water and saturating the area where you place the sprinkler. Sent it back.

Works well when it works. However, it tends to get stuck in one place, especially with lower water pressure. This seems to be caused by one or more of: too much friction in the rotating sprinkler body, return spring and mechanism is too flimsy, impact arm is made from light weight plastic.

Returned as the rotating head was too stiff that water pressure would not turn it. Base is light. Expected much better quality at this price range.
