Nice appearance and keeps good time. But I was specifically looking for a completely silent clock and this one ticks (quietly). I'm happy, but my husband can hear it and he's the one driven crazy by ticking clocks. Not sure if I'm keeping it.

Clock arrived packaged very securely. The wood tone and clock are great looking and fit on my mantel.The only negative is getting the back piece off to put in the battery. Overall a great find- I had been looking for a while for a good looking mantel clock for a good price. So far keeping good time.

I got this clock to replace a similar one I had that quit working. I thought it would be a substitute and I may not like it as much. I actually like it better. It's all wood and the color is more modern. The movement is more durable than the one I had and the glass is dome shaped so there is no glare. It is glass not plastic. The face is an antique gold color that makes it look more expensive. My last one had numbers. I thought the roman numerals would be hard to get used to, but not at all. It keeps time prefect. It doesn't run fast or slow. It looks very nice on the fireplace mantle. It goes with any décor, especially the farm beige gray with gold accents that is trending right now.

This clock is replacing a vintage mantle clock that required winding, didn't keep accurate time, stopped without explanation and whose chimes annoyed everyone except me. This lovely clock looks very similar to my old clock but has the benefit of being battery operated, keeps accurate time and is silent. The cabinet is a rich looking wood, and the antique face with Roman numerals is easy to read. This clock looks right at home on the mantle of my 1923 home.

I was waiting awhile for this clock ,in fact I don’t think it took colombus as long to circumnavigate the globe as it did for this clock to arrive ,plus I had to pay import duty that added another €32 euro to it ,which I wasn't expecting, However I must say the clock is beautiful and worth the wait ,plus the people in the store were very helpful about the delay ,not so FedEx a nightmare of a company is there managing direct a virtual one .I love the clock ,
