We have a hanging wooden rack that I built for storing inflatable paddle boards hozizonatally. It generally works well, but getting the first board through the rack is always a challenge because ithe board would drag on the wooden base, requiring two people to get the board hung. Big nuisance. One day as we were loading the first board I mused about how awesome it would be to have something that could “roll†the board along. A quick search on Amazon lead me to these rollers and I immediately ordered them. I installed them on the base of the wooden U bracket I had built, sacing them with about a 10†gap between them. This allows the board to be loaded upside down and allows the handle and the Scotty mounts to avoid contacting the rollers. It works perfectly, so much easer and it’s a one person operation to load or unload the paddleboards. The rollers are well made and constructed. Smooth rolling. No sharp unfinished edges anywhere. Easy to install or remove from the bracket thanks to the detent spring. Highly recommended!
