The size is perfect. I have a very petite 8 year old and I ordered size 7/8. She even has a tad growing room in it! It stays in place and looks so cute. It's been washed half a dozen times and is still going strong. I hang to dry it.

So the galaxy is 6/7 and the pink and blue is 7/8. I was a little on the fence as my 8 year old is 4’2†and 57# (She’s a beanpole)I will say that she fits the 6/7 but the 7/8 isn’t too big and doesn’t look baggy on her.It has a nice stretch, the sequins are more shiny parts on the outfit, however I will say I like that more than actual sequins don’t have to worry about them coming off. (I haven’t washed them yet to know how they will hold up)Also it’s thin but not see through! Which is another huge bonusAll in all. It’s worth the purchase if you’re looking to add cost effective variety to your littles out wardrobe.I’ll definitely order more

This Leotard is fairly good quality, has stood up to being washed weekly after gymnastics class.It is also very cute on. We get compliments all the time from other parents.Shipping was also much faster than I anticipated.
