Ended up getting a refurb, despite Amazon, stating otherwise. Returned the first one and was told a NEW one would be sent and another refurb was sent. They ended up giving me 20% off which worked out. I also have the Asurion protection just incase something happens after 90 days coverage. It's a great printer, fax, scanner.And the cartridges can be purchased everywhere that are non HP. The printer detects it, but it still works.

This is a refurbished printer. YOu have to hit ok in order for it to print. If you print 20 pages you have to hit ok AFTER EVERY PAGE PRINTS in order for the next to continue. Do not buy

Somewhat confusing setup but otherwise a 10 in all ways. Produces great laser color prints. Fast.

It worked for the first month on both sides now it’s not even sucking it back up. It’s not doing nothing. I would never buy another one.

I need new printer for office in NJ we just opened, this was out go to choice for HP Printer M283 model, price was right and we thought we are buying new printer, however this is a refurbished product, when you get it you find out and it works good for few hours, if you are lucky it may work longer but for us it stopped working after just few hours the LED screen went blank and would not come-up even with HP suggested hard reboot of the software. so we had to return this. We have 3 original HP M283 and M281s in our offices all over 2 years old and still working great.

We bought this smaller printer for an office to use occasionally. Shortly after a month, the paper jams started. When the paper does jam, it marks the paper with a crease or fold in the same spot. We can't see any loose bits of paper or anything else that might be in the way. When we print more than one page, the first page will print, but the second page will jam.It's too new to have this issue. The return window closed 5 days ago, so now we will have to pay someone to fix our new printer. The repair quote is almost what we paid for the printer. I am unhappy and will never buy another refurbished printer.
