As folks have said these ball valves are smooth and easy to swing. They seal perfectly/completely. Came with 3 extra rubber washers. Nice heavy duty brass metal construction.

Love, love, love this splitter! It is so worth the few dollars extra for the solid brass and, best of all, the handles which make turning the water off and on...with full control...effortless. No itty bitty little levers that are hard to grab and only allow off or on. No leaks at all if I leave the main water turned on. Expect it will serve me well for many years!

I bought 4 of these big handle style splitters from 2 different brands and I have to say the HM brand with large red handles didn't leak after I stopped using teflon tape. That's the trick, just connected them straight without Teflon tape. Wish they didn't cost so much. I can see where the piece was welded isn't smooth finish. Overall it's really a 3.5 stars. It is full flow and it's nice having large handles to turn things on and off

This valve is very well made. Much better than the cheep hose splitters you get at the hardware store. Also the flow is a lot better as this is a full flow valve, not choked down like the cheep ones. Works better for my pressure washer.

Don't be fooled by high price that your getting a quality product! We purchased this with intent to use in laundry room for an ice maker washer combo source. So glad we didn't. We installed outside today to find a breach (See image) in the unit which would have been disasterrous inside. Bought dec 24 2024 . Expecting a refund or a replacement with a true "quality inspected for assurance" product. This was way too expensive to not seek a remedy for this defective item.

Heavy duty construction. Nice big handles that you can get some leverage on. Handles are held in place by nylon lock nuts insuring they will not loosen up. Ball valve construction is superior to other styles. This is a replacement for those smaller Y shutoffs with the little levers. The other style levers like to stick and are hard to turn, plus I would have to Loctite the lever screws as they tended to loosen and fall out with use. This product in not cheap, however it should give a lifetime of service and that is not an exaggeration.I wish I would have found these years ago. I will never go back to the cheap ones. You get what you pay for!

Had a few of these and every one was junk. This one is not junk and definitely worth the price of admission. Sturdy construction, real brass, switching is clean and dripless and the faucet connection has 5 threads rather than the usual 3 so stays firmly on the faucet with a washer inserted.

Absolute joy to work with. Heavy duty nut, valves and thread. No complaints. Worth every penny. HQMPC sounds like one of those weird Chinese brand names, but their plumbing / garden hose products so far have proven to be top shelf quality for us. Huge props for HQMPC. 5 stars from Canada.

Great unit to expand the hose bib capacity. Way easier to use that the ones with tiny levers. This one is donut brass and metal. No plastic. Will last forever comparatively.
