The power adapter/charger for my Sony camcorder stopped working so I decided to try this inexpensive generic one. Glad I did because it works great.I was careful to order the same exact output as the original one that came with my Sony camcorder. This HQRP has an output of DC 8.4V 1.5A that matches my original exactly. It is very important to make sure the output is what your camcorder requires or it won't work properly. I don't know the long term reliability of this adapter but at $14 you can't really go wrong with this one.

I love this charger that I recently purchased. I have had this camcorder since high school, but after moving several times, I lost the charger along the way. I love that I am able to start using it again ables view my old videos that are on the tapes. So many memories that are no longer lost! Great product!

The HQRP replacement AC Adapter/Charger was packaged very thoroughly. I am most impressed by how cheap it was. Sony tech support offered to replace our lost charger for $60 for the portable charger, and $80 for the one we got here for $10. After shipping, it my family still saved over $60.What a great deal. It arrived sooner than expected too! If you need this charger, I doubt you'll be able to find a better deal anywhere else.

Bought this charger for an old hi8 video camera. I gave it 5 stars because a) it works as advertised and does exactly what you need it to do; b) the price was one of the lowest i found making this good value.

We have a pretty old camera that we have used since I was younger and have long ago lost the power supply for it. I searched around to finally find this but it fit the model just like it said it would and came very quickly. I was so excited to see those videos again and it's been a huge benefit to my family.
