I like the fact that it is small enough yet it holds the connection from a heavy duty power cord and the Christmas lights out in front of our house. Those lights use of them transformer/controller and it's a bit unwieldly and big.I was using a rather large box to hold the connection but it was an eyesore. and the small in line "boxes" are too small. This one is the perfect size for such simple connections.The design is a little.. hmm... you got to wiggle the box closed because of the way the pins holding the ends of the cables need to fit into the bottom and top (lid) of the box. But, it's easy enough to do.Other than that, if feels sufficiently strong and sealed. And with that size, it's not obvious and out of the way.Recommended. Gave it 5 stars.

Seems to do the job as I live in a rainy area near the foot of a mountain and it kept my xmas lights safe. Only complaint is the instructions (I already threw them out bc they are useless) which basically say, “do this (photo) not that (other photo)†but the photos look identical. I just crossed my fingers that I set it up correctly.

A cool use for this weather proof electrical connection box. When the nut thieving tree rats chewed off my trailer connector I needed something to slow their roll. This box is perect as it is easy to install and even has extra room for my connector grease to sit. I am using a wire loom tubing cable sleeve to (hopefully) stopthem from chewing on the wires going into the box. The box has a small one way channel gripper to make pulling the wiring out without opening the box. I am using another under my pergola to protect the lighting transformer.
