Great tape. Love the amount on one reel. I am using it for freezer labels, and taping artist paper to a board. It's great tack.Quick delivery and in a black heat sealed bag so I knew I got a full roll. I am sure other uses will come up.

It looks nice, but peels off on its own. Sort of like a stronger masking tape.
Trying to cut down..on everything.

Like everything these days my TV/Stereo system has a lot of cables. And I am old school and have an actual CD player, DVR, and multipleother devices in a cabinet. It's a massive set of wires.I undertook to label and organize all of them. The tape seemsto stick well to everything but also releases and doesn't leave aresidue to become sticky. The white allows you to use a sharpy to write on it andit tears easily with your hands rather than having to usescissors.I went through most of the roll organizing and labelingthe wires and it didn't fail me even once.

I love this HRX Gaffer Tape - 1.5 Inch x 50 Yards! I'm not in the entertainment business. I'm an old lady who uses it to secure the lever on her pet door so the pets don't become locked out! We have a pet door that fits into a window so that cats and small dogs can go in and out as they please. Since the window is white, I was thrilled to find gaffer tape in white. It doesn't stand out like the black gaffer tape does. The white blends in with the window. The lever on the door tends to fall down as it has been used so extensively. I started taping it to keep it in place and it has worked very well. I hadn't seen white tape and it doesn't bother me that it isn't as wide as I don't need a large piece of tape. One of the things I'm very pleased with is how easily this tape tears by hand. I don't have to look for a pair of scissors to cut it off. It just rips off cleanly. When I remove it at the end of the day so I can keep the cat from going outside after dark (we have coyotes in the area), there is no residue at all. The window is clean. I just stick it on the side of the window and reuse the same piece of tape for several days. It works well, with no diminishing of stickiness. I think this tape is fantastic and I most highly recommend it.

While this is listed as "gaffers tape", it is more similar to masking tape. The tape material is much thinner than standard gaff tape, and it is also not as sticky (as seen in the photo and how less "shimmery" the adhesive side is). It is nice that the tape is half-width for smaller tape jobs, as with taping down my Ethernet cable, but because of being so thin and less adhesive, you have to use more of the tape to do the job. Overall, the quality is as expected for the lower cost.

I first learned of Gaffer Table when hotel staff set up my AV equipment for conferences. They used the tape to hold wires on hotel carpets and removed the tape without any residue on the carpets. I have been using Gaffer Tape for my AV uses, but for overall home use. While I previously used Duct Tape which stuck well, it left adhesive when removed. It also was not forgiving if applied incorrectly and wanted to remove. So, I use Gaffer Tape for almost all my tape needs and the HRX Gaffer Tape - 1.5 Inch is perfect. It is easy to tear (don't need scissors) and stays in place (excellent adhesion). Having purchased Gaffer Tape at AV stores, the price point for this tape is excellent For AV use, a 2 inch vs 1.5 inch would be a little easier to use for wire "tie down" - but perfect for household use.

I work in video production and use gaffer's tape routinely. Normally I use black gaffer's tape to blend in and not call attention to itself if it's used in something visible on the set. However, there are times when I need gaffer's tape that is white so I can use it to label something with a Sharpie marker, not just secure cables. This 50 yard roll of 1.5 inch width white gaffer's tape met my needs, for the most part. It's decent. It is budget priced so you'll save some green compared to other brands. But it is not as adhesive as typical gaffer's tape. It has stayed secured to everything I've used it on so far but you can tell it isn't secured as tightly as other gaffer's tape brands. The adhesive just feels a bit weaker. Being white, this is really designed for labeling and not as much for taping down cables, which the black and darker colored gaffer's tapes typically are. I've used this primarily for labeling. The tape itself feels a little thinner than other gaffer tape brands too. The advantage is that it tears with relative ease. It even feels a bit more like paper than tape. Not dramatically so but you can feel the difference.Overall, this tape works fine. It's a decent roll and while not as sturdy or adhesive as other brands works well enough for what it is. Recommended.
