We built a compost sifter and needed a vibration motor to move the compost down the sifting wire. Other than having to have a friend wire a plug into it so we could plug it into an extension cord, it was exactly what we needed.

Hsing 30W Concrete Vibrator Vibration Motor with Speed Controller: The Eccentricity Block is in no way adjustable see pics. All plates are keyed to the shaft of the motor and can't be alternated as in the manufactures pics. The controller does not come connected to the device meaning that the waterproof connection and rating is not valid as a package. Additionally while the controller box has waterproof wiring the seals for the dial and box lid were not installed. You will have to open the devices to rewire if you intend to use it in a wet environment. That brings me to the next point the internal wiring of the controller box does not appear to be adequate even at the low watt ratting of the device. Finally only roughly 25% of the controller actually functions. It turns on at full speed then you can barley turn the controller before it stops functioning.

This little dynamo surpassed my expectations. Why no plug? I'll leave that explanation to seller. I was screening bags of "garden soil from home depot and to my frustration, each bag contains at least 25% of debris but most infuriating of all is little stones which add weight in the bag, weight they charge for, anyway it was time consuming and lots of back breaking labor. I thought to myself, there's gotta be a better way, and of course I thought of amazing Grace, I mean amazin Amazon. Sure enough, available and at a great price and next day delivery. Really? Yes really. Great solution.

When the first one arrived it worked as described. You have to play with the speed control a little to get it to go at a slower rate, but that seems to be typical.The second one I ordered was handed off to the USPS and that never arrived. The replacement almost seemed lost, this time by UPS, but eventually arrived a few days late. Unfortunately the unit only comes in a form fit, small cardboard box. No packing peanuts or bubble wrap, so if it falls from any height, it gets damaged from the fall and it's own weight.This one I received broke during shipping and the potentiometer, and speed control box were damaged. The box, just the bottom flange broke so it is still usable. The potentiometer, was completely destroyed. If it is no rush and you have a soldering iron, it can be easily swapped for another 500K Ohms pot. Just make sure it is a small one, as all the internals of the speed control are rather crammed in the box.

Purchased this one because it came with a controller and the illusion it was also attached. It is also in Chinese and there are no instructions. Returned and bought the pieces separately for half the cost.
