Over the years I have had many hard cases. This style works best for flat glasses. This case is a hard plastic. I've dropped cases like these many times and never had any damage to the contents. The padding is soft enough so the lenses don't get scratched. The case is slim enough that I can keep a microfiber cleaning cloth in it. The case is thin enough that it fits easily in my pants or jacket without falling out. Best of all, the spring holds the case firmly closed. The three colors are matte finish, attractive, and have not shown any scratches in the first month. Great case, great value. I recommend these.

This was a really great fine. The cases have a nice appearance to them. They are the perfect size for most glasses. The lining is nice, and they are very durable.

Years ago I received a case with the glasses I bought from my eye doctor and they snapped closed and open when you lifted the lid which I really liked. I put my glasses in the case at night and take them out in the morning. The "snap" action makes it easier to put the glasses in with one hand. After a few years the metal clips in the hinge that provided the "snap" action broke and the top just flopped down with gravity making it difficult to keep open while you put the glasses in. So I had hoped I would get a new case from my eye doctor's shop when I got new glasses.Unfortunately every time since then when my doctor's office gave me a new pair of glasses they didn't give me one of these types of cases (either a slide in case or some weird triangle prism shape that I didn't like). I saw this product and thought I'd give it a try as it sounded just like the original case I had.When I got them they had that nice "snap" action I remembered from earlier. The outside of the case is very durable so it is good protection for glasses. And there are 3 of them so even if the hinge breaks on this one I'll have the 2 others as back up. So far the hinges are working fine though.Overall they are exactly what I was hoping for. Hopefully they'll last longer than my previous case. Even if they don't I think this is a good value for what I paid.

Wow, I have to admit I was quite surprised at the quality of these cases. I have only had them for a short period of time and can't comment on how well they hold up, but out of the package they are pretty incredible for the price. I needed something to keep reading glasses handy without just putting them down with no protection and these are much more than I had hoped for. If they hold up (no reason to think they won't) these are a home run.

Be weary of the size.I thought it would be fine, but it's a bit smaller tan I expected.Nice material though.Feels good to the touch.

The case itself seems sturdy but this was smaller than I expected. My glasses wouldn't fit (case wouldn't close at all).
