I used it to tell a mini Cooper behind my motorhome, pulling into a gas station in courtside Arizona there you bolt section at bolt or with where the pin goes through one of the elbows broke, put a nice dent in front of my car appears to be cheap pot metal instead of steel I would never buy this again.

Product built very well, Very easy to install. Put on pick-up truck and hauled to from Indiana to El Passo, Tx. Very good for the money. Would recommend for use.

This system is very cheaply built. Springs sucking in hole, latch bent, bolts are not found on any table(suspect bolts), pin hole too big for clevis pin, tubing too thin and too small for towing 5,000 lbs ( I wouldn’t trust this towing a Honda CRV). Even the bolts either do not have washers or were even missing proper nuts (no lock washer or lock nuts).Repairs needed: 1) adding 3/16 thk reinforcement to pivot plates to remove gap around clevis, 2) adding 3/16 thk tube wraps on both ends to strengthen the tow tubes, 3) adding 3/4 thk spacers at hitch bracket and 4) switching out all fasteners for grage 8 bolts-nuts-washers.

Had expected chains to wrap around bumper. Had to install brackets on bumper but actually worked out well for a 1946 CJ2A Willys.

I use this for my Chevy equinox and Trax. Works like a charm. Had to tweak a couple things but for the price, I'm not really complaining. I did have to add a simple retaining clip to the vehicle pins because the spring clip allowed the pin on one side to pop out once but not a huge deal as i found it while testing it out.

The pins were not strong enough and They were bent. The product did not work even to pull the small car.

This toolbar works very well if you want to tow a vehicle with I would recommend it to anybody who wants to tow a vehicle that doesn’t work
