As you can see, I had So Much Fun trying out these mica powders! I felt that I was taking a chance getting these ones because the price was AMAZING at under 8. compared to others on the market. But you know how it is for most of us out here financially. I took a chance and it paid off as you can see by my experiments with resin and soap making. The bottom line is that the shine, saturation of color, and look is the same as more expensive ones on the market. I even showed that in the last photo. This green powder is in the bag above and the more expensive kind of mica is below it. I couldn’t even tell the difference when I poured some of this powder into the big container below in that photo!I do suggest that you get some cheap, little containers to put these bagged powders into for easier pouring although the tiny spoon with bigger spoon that is included is quite good. For soap making novices, After you pour the soap in the molds, stir the melted wax in the mold. This gets rid of the initial skin on top of the soap that contains bubbles and doesn’t shine. So, the 6th photo is how the soap looked after I stirred it. Isn’t is pretty?! The color is a mixture of blue with green. The brighter and shinier blue towards the center of the tourquoise blue flower I brushed into the mold (sky blue) before pouring the wax. The only way to get it to stick to the silicone was to spray alcohol first and then scoop a bit of mica into the crevices with the end of a sandwich pick. I strongly suggest getting sandwich picks for resin epoxy, candle, and soap making. I got mine on Amazon. They are cheap, and fantastic for scooping up the smallest amounts of everything, getting into small crevices, and stirring small amounts of liquids. These are all this mica except for the white color in the 4th and 5th photo done in resin. The white is produced by a white sinker for resin. There are several of these on Amazon. I laid down some of these mica colors first, put a drop or 2 of the sinker on them and put a heat gun on it for about 5 seconds to make the resin more liquid and flow more.I hope that some part of this helped you on your road to exploring and expressing Yourself through Your Creativity!😍

This looks great in epoxy. Good variety of colors. It's a little bit glittery looking, so this might not work if you're going for a dull/flat sheen.

A very little bit goes a VERY LONG way. Amazing value. You can make a tincture, put a small amount in a bottle with purified water or possibly, a small amount of alcohol, and make a liquid to add to soap or wax. Colors are VERY strong, use a tiny amount and build to the color you want. These tiny 5 g bags, BIGGER THAN MOST, will last FOREVER!

Very pigmented and shimmery. There are a variety of colors included. I used a half teaspoon of mica for my clear base translucent soaps and it definitely made the soaps opaque. A little goes a long way. I look forward to adding the mica powder to candles.

This is a good product. I wouldn’t say great but it is good. Colors are bright. They don’t blend super well but it’s a good price for the product.

These colours are good value for the money, because mica powder can be very expensive especially colour shifting. I was expecting the colours to be a little more vibrant, and a little better shift but for what they cost the colours are quite beautiful. I haven’t tried them all, to be fair, so I will update my review when I’ve given all the colours a try.
