I love this! I got it for a Christmas gift, I work from home and most of the time don’t want to be stuck in a room or at a desk, I will sit on the couch and this works so good! It has a nice spot for a phone, iPad or book, material for my mouse, and the perfect space for my computer. It doesn’t get my computer too hot either. And there’s a comfy pad on the bottom and it also doubles as a wrist rest to help fight wrist pain. There’s also a pad on the back side and helps give it a good height. I highly recommend

I started working remote for a short time while recovering from a medical incident. I needed to keep my legs up, so I wasn't able to work at my normal desk or table. I chose to do most of my work on the couch, so I needed something I could use with enough room for my laptop and a mouse. I liked how the mouse pad area looked, so I purchased this desk.My 15.6" laptop fits perfectly on the desk. There is about a quarter inch of space from my laptop to the left edge and to the mouse pad. My laptop does not slide around at all during my 8-to-9-hour sessions using the desk. The surface feels similar to laminated wood and has a texture to it which creates additional traction. The surface may not be desirable if using the desk for drawing.The mouse pad is the same size as a standard mouse pad. It is large enough to use a full-size mouse comfortably. The mouse pad is made of a soft rubber with a simulated leather texture. The rubber is quite grippy and keeps the mouse from sliding around, but also makes the mouse more difficult to control. I found myself always fighting the resistance even without applying any pressure to the top of the mouse. There is also a plastic lip around the mouse pad, and I didn't find that to get in the way at all.The two plastic wells at the top of the desk feel solid and are well attached to the desk. A plus size phone easily fits into the right side tray and a ten-inch tablet will fit into the left side tray with plenty of room to spare. The desk is designed to rest on your legs when they are kept flat. The cushion on the back is thicker than on the front to allow the desk to be at a slight angle toward you. It seems to help a bit with ergonomics. With the desk already at an angle, I could only lift my legs up about three inches before my phone and tablet flopped forward.The cushions are well made and quite comfortable. They are made from a soft fabric and have plenty of padding. The wrist wrest is at a good height and is comfortable to rest my wrist on. It raised my hand just enough to feel natural when using the mouse.The desk is light, while being well made and does not feel cheap. There is a cloth carrying handle which feels well attached to the desk, but I haven't carried it around by the handle enough to see if it holds up.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase.1. STURDINESS (5/5): It sits comfortably in my lap and provides exactly what I needed, a sturdy platform to work while sitting in the couch. As you can see in the photo, it fits my 14" laptop well, with ample space left. (I have a 15.6" laptop that also fits)2. MOUSE PAD (3.5/5): as mentioned by some other reviews, the fabric does seem like it will peel away at some point. In fact, the edges of the pad are kind of coming off already. However, I was concerned it wouldn't be big enough to use the mice, but I find it's plenty space for me. The leather-imitation pad that they chose works great.3. PHONE/TABLET SLOTS: I was skeptical of this as well, but I'm positively surprised! It help my phone and tablet perfectly, holding them straight with no issue. It's deep enough to secure that.Overall, I recommend this product. Happy with my choice and I think I'll keep using it for a good while.

After much research and watching review videos on YouTube, I bought this lap table to allow me to move away from my desk at times as a 'change of scenery'. Arrived quickly and was boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap. Am currently using it right now and it is very sturdy on my lap (I'm a small 5ft2in woman) -- it is quite big (wide) however I needed it wide for my 15.6" HP Spectre x360 laptop (I don't think a 17" laptop would fit without covering some of the mousepad). Padding underneath is extremely comfortable across my laps, and it works when I have my legs crossed under me as well. Looking forward to using it outside in my egg-chair! Thoroughly happy with my purchase.

Awesome comfy desk, perfect for lap or in bed. Love that the cushions on the bottom give it the perfect height and made extra comfy with the cushioned hand rests. Was bigger than I thought and the mouse pad is great too. Researched heaps of portable lap desks to find something to use for studying, so glad I found this!
