Definitely not heavy duty. It came in several pieces (which, if you’re paying attention to the images, are very short). They screw into each other (metal-to-plastic) easily enough, but I don’t want to overtighten in case I strip them. I’ve also had experience w/ stuff like this getting loose over time, so I don’t expect this to last long.Height for the broom and dustpan is good w/ the extensions, even though I’m short.Weirdly, the bristles are very bouncy, which makes it a bit harder to sweep because when you plop the broom on the ground, it jumps, which takes a bit to get used to. The broom is also a little on the narrow side. The lip of the dustpan is straight, though, and the little ramp helps move everything into it, other than the smallest of crumbs, so it does its job.I don’t think this is a great broom set for indoor use, so it’ll probably end up outside.

Nice lightweight broom and dustpan it was easy to assemble. Broom works good as it should and the dustpan pick up well, durability we’ll see because broom does feel a slight flimsy but not to bad.

The design is very well thought out. The broom and the dustpan are well-designed and sturdy. Very nice fine bristles on the broom pick up fine dust, cat sand, pet hair, and hair clippings very well. I do like that you can run the bristles through the dustpan fingers to remove the hair and dust. The broom's and the dustpan's handles/sticks are screwed together from several short sections (so they can ship it in a small box) with plastic joints and metal tubing that is VERY light/thin. I can't imagine this will last long. What's worse is, the thread on the broom and dustpan doesn't match the standard broomstick thread. So you can't even screw in a regular broomstick after the supplied one break. This broom and dust feels like something you would buy from the Dollar Store or Dollar General. Overall not bad has nice features but is flimsy and cheap feeling.

I wasn't sure about this broom dustpan set when I got the box because it seemed too lightweight but it actually works great! It is good that it is lightweight, who wants to put more strain into cleaning up?? The parts are all still very sturdy and go together easily to customize the length you want (I still had one piece leftover). They stay together well and stand alone when not in use, I'm sold.

Not a bad little broom and dustpan. May be a little too short for taller people, but I’m 5’ 4†and it is the right size. Not sure how durable it will be as that will take time to see how the sections hold up. It was easy to assemble and your really don’t need instructions to figure out how the pieces go together. The dustpan is very nice and I like that you can go from room to room without have it to dump out the stuff. I also liked that it has a “comb†like structure that enables you to clean out the stuff in the broom. That is a really nice feature. Overall, a good value for the money.UPDATE: several of the reviewers, including myself, complained that the broom was a little small. As I thought about it, the instructions show each piece (meaning the broom and the dustpan have 4 sections each for their handles). Since these sections are the same, I decided to use 3 sections on the dustpan and 5 sections on the broom. What a difference that made. Now the broom is a better height and the dustpan also is a much better height. If you were a little hesitant about this item because of the height issue, this will make it work for you.
