Excellent quality and build. For the price it's a steal.

I bought this as a support for my laser level for cases when my tripod is too tall, but some fine adjustment is needed. Turned out I didn’t need it, but it’s so well made I decided to keep it. Makes a great camera tripod for tabletop macro photography.

Solid & sturdy, will last a long time in my tool bag. My laser level was impossible to precisely position for my wallpapering jobs. This tool does with a twist of the knobs. Perfect!

I was thinking, for the price, this would be some cheap, plastic thing, but I needed something to hold my laser level. I was tired of trying to prop it with anything I could find, and never getting it to exactly where I needed it, so I decided to get this, whatever it was made of. What I discovered was that it was made of metal. It is solidly built. It is a precision instrument. From the picture, I also thought the legs were telescopic and it would be a coarse adjustment. Wrong. They unscrew, making for a very fine adjustment. It isn't often you buy something today and are truly impressed when you get it. This is one.

I love the micro adjust. I need that for setting straight lines to existing marks. Good companion to the Huepar laser level

I love its looks and material. However, it would be a lot nicer if there was a way to add another knob that could rotate about its y and x axis in case we wanted it to have it at 45 degrees or at any angle

I am using this with my Klein Line laser. I’m really impressed with how much faster it is to set the laser, especially when it’s a long distance it can be difficult to dial in perfectly. But this makes it so much easier. You still need to get the laser semi-close to where you want it, but this make dialing it in a breeze.

On August 20, 2019 I wrote the following questions to the manufacturer. Unfortunately the answers I received were nonsensical, so I will answer them here.Questions:AT-2 Laser Level Adapter: roughly how many turns of the rotary knob are necessary to turn the stage 90 degrees? How much backlash is there in the rotary screw?Answers:Cut-to-the-chase: 32.2 knob rotations per 90 degrees, or 2.795 degrees per rotation; and about 1/10 rotation backlash. Details follow.I set up the rotating stage on a tripod in my backyard. I mounted a Johnson Model 40-6648 on the stage, then projected the plumb "90-degree" line on the edge of a fence 40 feet away. Next I turned the knob on the rotating state to rotate the stage to project the vertical of the cross on the same fence edge. This required 32.2 turns of the knob, so 90 deg / 32.2 = 2.795 deg / full rotation. The knob is a soft rubber-like material that has a uniform 30 knurls around the knob that make it easy to mark with a silver Sharpie each 5 knurls, and also easy to measure less than a full rotation of the knob. Specifically 2.795 deg / 30 knurls = 0.0932 deg / knurl. Backlash refers to absence of motion when reversing direction of rotation, measured by looking for motion of the laser line (which is very easy to detect in the dark). Backlash is 3-4 knurls on the knob, or about 1/3 degree. If one pays attention to avoid backlash, the stage is repeatable to a fraction of a knurl on the knob, or less than 0.1 degree.Verdict: for the price, this stage exceeds my expectations and is a winner.

This is about what you expect it to be, the adjustments are a little crusty and finicky, but getting smooth precision adjustments is just not possible at this price point, and they are definitely good enough to get the job done. On the plus side, it's mostly metal components and pretty robust. Happy I have it, seems like it'll last a long time.

Good solid and functional laser stand. My only knock is that the feet should be softer rubber so it doesn't slide. I'm trying to find something I can slide over the feet so they will grip better.
