Very simple item that could literally not be easier to use. Just plug it into any AC plug to see the current voltage. Works great and has nice bright clear screen

If you plug this in were you can see it in your RV you know if your power is off! With the RV having two power systems 12v and 120v one can be off and it not apparent! Very handy device!

Displays current ac voltage, with color changing from normal blue range to a red color for below 107 vac or over 127 vac.I used in a RV park where 1 transformer powered a dozen RV lots (at 50 amp each).During extreme cold (10°F) turned red & showed "brownout" of 106vac.Also showed a large voltage drop when using a cable 14 gauge to small for the 20 amp load at 50 ft.

We were having voltage issues at our house during hot days - you could tell because the AC and microwave sounded like they were really struggling. I bought this to check and confirm my suspicions. The voltage readings matched my UPC battery backup, and when we called in an electrician to verify that the issue was due to the supply from the the power company, not in our house, he verified with his voltmeter as well. All 3 devices (UPC battery backup, professional analog voltmeter, and this plug-in voltmeter) were within one volt of each other.In the end, having photos of voltage readings from throughout the building (and even outside) was enough evidence to finally get the power company to believe it really was their fault, and they were able to identify and solve the issue on their end.

I’ve actually purchased both models of these monitors, the standard for my house and this unit for my RV.Going down the road I can look over my shoulder and see that my inverter is working and the voltage is correct with the display showing green, if it’s not lit or showing orange I will need to pull over and see what’s wrong.When I’m plugged in at a campground I can see the state of the shore power at a glance.Works great and do recommend.

I use this meter inside my RV outlets to monitor AC Voltage while my Honda Generator is supplying power.
