I ordered this to prevent the outside draft from our back door. There is a space between our glass/screen door and the wooden door that let in the bitter midwest cold. This, although meant to fit underneath a door, fits perfectly in the space between our 2 doors and has eliminated the draft. Our house stays warmer and the heating bill has been reduced as well. No complaints!

I really wanted to love this but it seems like the design is a tad flawed. First of all, my door is the proper size/width. I made sure to measure and cut the tubes correctly. Everything works well except for when you try and open the door more than 65 percent, the Draft Stopper comes off some.Making it impossible to close the door without re-adjusting it. Even with the velcro affixed to the door, it seems like they should have designed it to have a velcro strip on each side of the draft stopper, that sticks to each side of the door. I feel this would stop it from sliding and would be held snug to the door always.This was a huge issue when I was taking out a bunch of cardboard. Very large cardboard boxes from products ordered online. I started to take them out, was half out when I remembered this draft stopper had this issue. It was raining, I was trying to keep the pets from running outside, was frustrating for sure. I can laugh at it now though, haha.

I got this to use for the basement door. We redid the floor downstairs and the gap under the door was higher than before. This works well to cover the gap. Just be aware if you have a frame around the middle, you will need to cut the inside shorter than the outside to make the door close smoothly.

Summary: Blocks 100% of the light, air, and most of the noise. Assembly is quick and easy; however, most people will need to trim one of the sides so that the door will close properly. Don't trim too much, because you want a snug fit on all edges and corners when the door is closed.Review:There are many of these draft stoppers on the market. This one advertised to stop noise, which is the most important feature for my application, since I'm trying to block noise out of our bedroom so my wife can sleep during the daytime. Blocking light is also important. This item does both very well.Assembly: To reduce size, they cut the foam inserts into three pieces. Unfortunately, they provide cheap cellophane tape to reattach them, so if I ever take this apart, I will retape the foam pieces with duct take. I should've done that the first time, but I was in a hurry to get this installed before my wife slept.Installation: Don't be afraid to cut this to fit your door jam. I had to cut one side so that the door would close properly. First, I measured the distance to cut, then I removed the sleeve and cut the foam piece to size, then put the sleeze back on. Then, I cut the fabric so the door would close properly, leaving just enough fabric to cover the foam piece, as you don't want the foam piece "hanging out" the end. That would be ugly.Conclusion: Ok, I was skeptical this would work as advertised but now I'm a believer. It really does work to block light, air movement, and noise. Next, I will put weather stripping around the edges of the door to block any remaining pathway for noise and light. Recommended!!

Works much better than expected. For the very reasonable price I wasn't sure about ordering this. It is exactly as shown in pics. It fits perfectly but looks like it could be adjusted for custom doors. It has been on the door for 3ish weeks and stays in place. It helps with noise and light as well. Love it.

The standard size is great for my closet doors but for a bedroom door I needed to use the extension foam measure twice cut once there's no big issue here if you miscut since it's foam you can adhere or remove as you need. Overall it's great if you want to close the gap between the door and the floor would recommend.
