I bought this for smash burgers and it works very well. Have also used it to make tortillas (not as good as a press) and as a sandwich press. It has good weight and cleans up very easily. It has a rough finish that should give it good protection from rust. The main body and handle assembly appear to be a single casting so there is not much to break. The grip is made of durable plastic/vinyl and provides protection from heat. I like the fact that it is non-porous (bacteria from raw meat) and easy to clean.

Works great on bacon and other meats to keep them flattened while cooking.I bought a magnetic board seperately to hold it when not in useQuality materials. Good value

Quality craftsmanship. Perfect size and weight. Handle DOES NOT get hot. Presses out lots of unwanted grease. Bacon comes outs crisp and flat. Can’t wait to use it on my hamburgers.

Does just as it says but a bit sticky the first couple of times you use it but after that works great. Nice and heavy to hold down the burger and helps them cook faster...

The weight makes it really easy to smash meat to make a smash burger, the handle feels great. I use parchment paper in between burger and press and it works great.

Right size for putting hamburger patties, bacon, kielbasa sausages. keeps em nice and flat for better searing and cooking. My fried meats look and taste as if though from a restaurant.

Really sturdy feel when pressing the meat down, easy to wash. Unlike the one with the wooden handles I feel this one is more sanitary.

Used it day one to smash some nice medium ground beef and they came out so nice. Love the handle and the hefty weight to it. This will work amazing on any cooking surface except maybe stainless steel. This is my go-to tool now for making smash burgers.
