I found this model to be well made and useful for studying anatomy. Although it is hollow, it seems to be made of a thick enough plastic so that it does not deform or feel like it will ever break. The head comes off of the provided stand by pulling up so that it slides off of the pole. Muscle anatomy was difficult for me to study and I wish I had used this model sooner as I can see how useful it would be to have something in your hands that you can look at from all angles. The model also came with a guide that provides the name of most of the important anatomical structures. I feel that the price is worth it for the quality and the continued use this model will get considering it covers so much stuff.

Perfect addition to the A&P classroom. Looks to be high quality, has a great information sheet and is a great size for teaching with.
