Love this. The color is great. It fits my 1000 ml nalgene bottle perfectly and doesn't leak when upside down. Materials feel strong and sturdy. I can't stand straws on reusable bottles tops because they're so hard to clean. I like this because it is easy to clean and makes drinking more comfortable with the smaller opening. Which also makes it easier to drink from while driving the car instead of having to open the wide mouth. I love the color variety. The smaller opening top is a little bit grippy which feels nice and makes it easier to open and close securely. Very happy with this purchase. Worth the money.

These caps are excellent. Quality materials and great design. Do you get annoyed drinking from wide mouth water bottles? These caps solve that. I ended up buying several to replace the caps on my Nalgene water bottles. I don't ever want to go back. They fit perfect and have never leaked even if the bottle ended upside down. If you are looking for a product like this, then you can buy with confidence. This is a quality product that is very useful.

I've been carrying around the same Nalgene since 2009. It's been with me all over the country and I think I'm more attached to it than my children. I use it for backpacking, traveling, and sometimes general everyday use. In 2015 I bought one of these humangear caps and leveled up my Nalgene. I use this bottle as my "smellable" in bear country. Meaning I put flavor powder in the bottle. A widemouth is a necessity for proper cleaning, but I can't hike and drink from a widemouth, even with a splash-guard, without making my shirt a smellable as well. This lid has changed the game. Easy drinking, easy cleaning, winning!It's been through everything with me these past 8-years. I've dropped it multiple times, kicked it down mountains, put it in the dishwater, etc. It still looks great and has never leaked. I often hang it from my pack with a carabiner with no issues.I started to get anxious about loosing my beloved water bottle, and I really want to have it around for my kids to put my ashes in one day, so I switched to a new bottle for daily use. Old trusty will still travel with me on my adventures! After a couple weeks of struggling to drink from the widemouth with splashguard, I finally went hunting for another one of these life savers! My matching blue one came yesterday and I'm drinking stress-free again! I like the addition of the cap stow-away so I don't have to hold it out of the way. It's great for sitting on my desk and drinking one-handed. Hopefully it holds up as well as the old one. If it's 1/2 as good I'll still be happy!Buy with confidence!

IBought this for my wife’s now Gene bottle. She liked another one better, but this one works really well on its own and now my daughter uses this one.We especially the narrow opening, which makes drinking easier. I also like that, it will fit some of the other generic bottles we have picked up on the wayAnyhow, it is a nice replacement for the original lid when it wears out.

I bought two of these last year for my wide-mouth nalgenes and they are great!! These are a perfect fit and they are way better than a splash guard insert. My one complaint is with the durability of the strap. Both of the lids that I bought have either broken or are in the process of breaking after less than a year of basic use. This could easily be fixed by making the strap out of silicone instead of polypropylene. If Humangear made this update, then this would be The PERFECT water bottle lid! Please please make this update and then let me know so I can buy more of them. Thanks! :)

Very cool design and works well with a Nalgene 1L wide mouth! Allows you to drink quickly without fear of spilling. The cap folds and inserts into a slot with a tab to retain. I like that it also comes in a wide variety of colors. I ordered a 2nd color for my other Nalgene.

Utilisé avec une gourde nalgène en inox. Ce bouchon est très pratique (bien plus que celui d'origine) pour les boissons. Bonne étanchéité, et plutôt solide.
